Mymensingh
Mymensingh Zilla School was established in 1846. Initially established as Hardinge School, it was officially renamed Mymensingh Zilla School on November 3, 1853. The school's first headmaster was Bhagawan Chandra Bose, father of the renowned scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose. The main buildings still in use today were constructed in 1912. The school served as a training camp for freedom fighters during the 1971 Liberation War.
